And isn’t that the art of copywriting? Playing with words, playing with ideas, playing with emotions. Then, just when you’re going to hit your limit (too much fun or about to lose your mind)—taking a time-out. Pausing, reflecting and crafting the perfect headline, subject line or simply just your next line. I’d like to think so.
And trust me, when it comes to time-outs, I’m kind of an expert. After all, as the picture proves, I’ve been taking them since 1999.
